Brown Institute Source Inventory
The Brown Institute consists of a total of 19 sources, 15 of which are shared sources, 4 of which are local to specific displays.
Shared sources are listed in order of the names found on the AV panel:
- Cablebox 1 - The box can be located in the AV rack. Controls found on the AV Panel.
- Cablebox 2 - The box can be located in the AV rack. Controls found on the AV Panel.
- AirMedia 1 - Wireless AV via AirMedia App* located at 128.59.96.150.
- AirMedia 2 - Wireless AV via AirMedia App* located at 128.59.96.151.
- AirMedia 3 - Wireless AV via AirMedia App* located at 128.59.96.152.
- AirMedia 4 - Wireless AV via AirMedia App* located at 128.59.96.153.
- AirMedia 5 - Wireless AV via AirMedia App* located at 128.59.96.154.
- Aux Faceplate - Mac Mini with Keyboard/Mouse are located in Locker 12.
- Faceplate Front Left - Faceplate at the northeast table dock.
- Faceplate Rear Left - Faceplate at the northwest table dock
- Faceplate Front Right - Faceplate at the southeast table dock
- Faceplate Rear Right - Faceplate at the southwest table dock
- SDI 1 - SDI Cable 1 is located in locker 21
- SDI 2 - SDI Cable 2 is located in locker 21
- Faceplate 202 - Faceplate 202 is located under the 65” screen display in Room 202.

- 201A Faceplate - Faceplate located under the screen in 201A (Susan).
- 201B Faceplate - Faceplate located under the screen in
- 201B (Garage).
- 201C Faceplate - Faceplate located under the screen in 201 (Duy).
- Mezzanine Faceplate - Faceplate located under the screen in the Mezzanine.
Shared sources are Audio/Visual signals that can be sent to any of the displays/audio in the space. Local sources are inputs limited to the screen it accompanies. To utilize local sources, locate the display remote (in locker 12), and manually change the input device (select input and change input to DVI/Component).
*Audio on Mac Requires Soundflower to be installed. The computer must restart for soundflower to work. Additionally, to run AirMedia without having to reinstall the app each time, please drag the AirMedia App from its mounted DMG share to your ‘Applications’ folder, and run the application locally.
